This mezuzah features a sheet of polymer clay layered on a clear acrylic base, creating a slim, modern profile. The clay is worked into an abstract composition of overlapping pigments and textures—warm crimsons and scarlets dominate, balanced by hints of coral, burgundy, and subtle neutrals. Varied application techniques produce areas of smooth color, marbled veining, and soft gradients, giving the piece depth and movement while retaining an overall red effect.

The acrylic backing adds a clean, durable frame that lets light pass around the edges, enhancing the clay’s translucence and color saturation. Finished with a low-sheen varnish, the surface is tactile but understated. It is 4 inches long, 3/4 inch wide, and 1/2 inch deep. It can be affixed with double sided clear tape which is included.

Mezuzahs are placed on the right side of all the doors of your home (not bathrooms) including the entry to the home or apartment. It is placed where the top third and the bottom 2/3’s of the height of the doorframe meet and at a slant where the top of the case points into the room.

As this is a handmade item, all are slightly different.
